Obama’s last chance to signify?

In Holland in the past everybody was for Israel just because the Jews suffered so immense in WW II. They deserved their own country; we were all so ashamed. Without any doubt the USA was the most successful country in the 20th century from an economic perspective. But like all great empires in history they will fade away to second grade or less. Greece was in ancient history the center of the world economically and intellectually. Now it is not even the shadow of what it was. Will the USA share the same destiny?

Salvation of the Banking System

The banking system has taken society hostage. Modern economies cannot function without a financial system that guaranties daily payments executed in time. Even after the world almost collapsed when greed for millions cost society billions the banking business goes on as usual.

The services banks provide can be split up in to:

  • Processing the daily payments of their clients and
  • Investment banking activities
